OFFICE INFORMATION
Pick up registration forms 24 hours a day at the Parks
and Recreation office or print them off our website:
www.norwalk.iowa.gov. You can mail registration
forms, place them in our drop box or walk in. Our of-
fice is located at 1100 Chatham Ave. (Public Safety Bldg.).
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Fri-
day. The drop box is open 24/7! If you have any ques-
tions, call us at 981-9206. Online registration is avail-
able (See website: www.norwalk.iowa.gov).

Step aerobics/Interval is a class of high energy aero-

YOGA CLASS
Yoga is for everyone! It increases strength, flexibility,
and balance for both body and mind. Regular yoga prac-
tice can help to improve circulation, digestion and pos-
ture, stimulate the immune system, decrease stress level
boost self-esteem and create a sense of calmness and
well being. Please bring your own mat, towel & water.
Come in with an open mind and open heart. This class

CIRCUIT SENSATION
Are you ready for this new workout that is athletic,
intense and more fun than a three-ring circus??!! Using
the motivational power of teamwork and competition
in combination with the balance challenges presented
by the Bosu balance workout, you will discover how to
change ordinary circuit workouts into extraordinary
workouts. The class will also use jump ropes, medicine
balls, mini hurdles and weighted bars. Registration

EARLY BIRD BODY SCULPTING
For those of you who get up with the chickens, join-
ing these early morning classes will work you on ulti-
mate body sculpting, Pilates and Chico Metrics. This
class is designed to maximize core strength, firm and
tone your butt, thighs and arms. The class will use dumb-
bells and dynabands that will put you to the test with
added intensity. Registration Dates: Through Novem-

FAMILY OPEN GYM
Shoot hoops or play a pick-up game with friends or

in various art projects. Students at Oviatt Elementary
are welcome to participate but will need to find their

MAD SCIENCE OF IOWA
These mini sessions will be offered during the school
year for students in K-5th grade. We will meet at the
Norwalk Easter Library. Grade K-2 will do "Sampling
Science' the first semester and 'Forensics Science' sec-
ond semester. Grades 3-5 will do 'Forensics Science' first
and then 'Sampling Science' second. Location: Norwalk
Easter Library; Cost per session: $68 Norwalk residents/
$78.20 non-resident; Dates: Session 1 - November 5; Ses-
sion 2 - January 14, 21, 28; Session 3 - April 7, 14, 21;

COMMUNITY EDUCATION AT
MAIN STREET SCHOOL
Beginners Knitting- Learn to knit just in time for the
cold weather. It's a wonderful and relaxing way to spend
the cooler seasons. This class is aimed at beginners who
will be taught to cast on and knit-very basic. But with
those skills you will make yourself a wonderful scarf fit
for keeping you warm or sending to mom as a Christ-
mas gift. The class will meet two weeks later to finish
the scarves, so you do have a knitting deadline. Regis-
tration Deadline: Nov. 10; Date: November 10; Time:
6:30-8 p.m.; Cost: $15; Limit: 5 individuals.
LITTLE HOOPERS
This program is for boys and girls in 3rd and 4th
grades. OUr goal is to have fun while teaching the fun-
damentals of basketball. We will work on shooting, pass-
ing and dribbling with an overall emphasis on good
sportsmanship. This program will practice and play on
Saturdays. The boys and girls will be assigned to teams
and volunteer coaches will be needed for the program.
All times/dates are tentative pending number of teams.
