Missions Trip
Brittani McAninch of
Norwalk is planning an
l 1-month missions trip,
World Race, to 11 different
countries starting in Janu-
ary of 2014.
For McAninch to be
able to go on the missions
trip, she needs to raise
$15,500. She is hosting a
concert and spaghetti din-
ner fundraiser Saturday,
Nov. 9, from 5-7 p.m. at
Fellowship Community
Church, 225 North Ave.
The cost is $5 for adults
and $3 for children 12 and
under.
In addition to the meal,
there will be live music,
silent auction, raffles,
baked goods and jewelry
for sale.

Announce Engagement
Mark and Teri Lass of Norwalk announce the engage-
ment of their son, Steven, to Annie Foster, daughter of
Richard and Malinda Foster of Pocahontas.
Mr. Lass is currently working on his degree in Diesel
Technology and is employed at Interstate Power Sys-
tems. Miss Foster recently received her Master's degree
in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is employed
at Lutheran Services in Iowa.
The couple is planning their wedding for fall 2014.
Honor the Veterans!
Saturday, Nov. 9, Scouts will be at Linn Grove United
Methodist Church with American Flags to be planted
in the church yard. You can plant a flag and then write
the veteran's name on a form provided. Names will be
read during a brief service SundaN Nov. 10, at 10 a.m.
You are invited to attend the service also. A free will
offering will be taken with proceeds going to Youth
Ministries in Warren County.
