A resolution will be brought back to the next Council meeting. • Flood Plain Information from FEMA was discussed. • Discussion was held on hiring someone to help update our Code of Ordi- nances/do City Planning for us. • Discussion was held on the Cemetery and the Reveiz property that is cur- rently annexed into West Dps Moines. Informational Items: • Letters were given to all Council members regarding the new Health Insur- ance Marketplace Coverage Options. • Iowa Distilling has installed a tank on their property for wastewater which will then be hauled to the WRA for disposal• More information will be obtained for the Council on adding Phase II sewer before the current sewer plant needs extensive repairs. Also discussed was adding water capacity out to the inter- change before development of any kind can take place. UPCOMING CITY COUNCIL MEETING: October 14, 2013, 7:00 pm at City Hall Motion made by Lare, Seconded by Koch to Adjourn'at 7:30 pm. Approved 5-0• Amended Ordinances: Ordinance 2013-03 - An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cumming, Iowa by Amending Provisions Pertaining to the Compensation of the Council. This changes the pay the Council members receive for regular Council meetings from $25 to $30. It also adds pay of $15 for meetings held outside of regular Council meetings. Both changes are effective for Council mem- bers starting January 1,2014. Ordinance 2013-04 - An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cumming, Iowa by Amending Provisions Pertaining to the Compensation of the Mayor. This changes the pay the Mayor receives for regular Council meet- ings from $45 to $50. It also adds pay of $15 for meetings held outside of regular Council meetings. Both changes are effective for the Mayor starting January 1, 2014.
