Please bring clean tennis shoes to wear for the games. This program is only for residents who live in the Norwalk School District. EARLY OUT /EDNESDAYS Back by popular demand! Again this year we will offer afternoon early out field trips to various attrac- tions in and around the metro area. The trips are held on the 3 rd Wednesday of the month (Oct.-Feb). These "early out" trips are for kids in 3 rd, 4 th and 5 th grade. Our staff will have an activity for the kids from 12-1:15 and then we will board the bus. hxlpoxtaz Snacks are not included this year in the price of the activity; if your child needs a snack, additional money needs to be sent LEISURE LINE with them. STEP BENCH AEROBICS Step bench aerobics is a low impact, high-energy aero- bic routine set to music. Participants use a step bench that is provided to help increase the heart rate. ICIRCUIT SENSATION Are you ready for this new workout that is athletic, intense and more fun than a three-ring circus? Using the motivational power of teamwork and competition in combination with the balance challenges presented by Bosu balance workout, you will discover how to change ordinary circuit workouts into extraordinary workouts. The class will also use jump ropes, medicine balls, mini hurdles and weighted bars. COMMUNITY CPR - FIRE DEPARTMENT_ This classroom-based, video and instructor-led course is for friends, families and members of the com- munity who want to learn CPR, but do not need a course completion card. It contains information on how to per- form the basic skills of CPR in adults, children and in- fants and how to help an adult, child or infant who is choking. Wii BOWLING/GAMES LEAGUE Do you miss the game of boling? Not quite as spry as you used to be. We invite you to try the game of Wii bowling. This game mimics actions performed in real life bowling without having to travel to a bowling alley. Each week teams will be assigned for those who show up and we will have a little comPetition. This program will run through November 18. The second session will run from February 3 until March 17. Place: Norwalk Public Safety Building; Time: Thursdays, 1:30-3 p.m. WELL SEASONED POTLUCK (The meat as well as the people) All are invited, age 55 and older, to attend a potluck dinner to enjoy and socialize with the Park and Recre- ation staff. Meat, tableware and coffee/beverage are pro- vided. Dust off the cookbooks and be creative to bring a side dish and/or dessert to share with everyone. After the meal we will have some form of entertainment from local talent. Let us know your email address and we will send out reminders with what meat we plan to have on that day.
