Red Ribbon Week
The Middle school participated in Red Ribbon with many fun activities.
Students enjoyed dressing in pajamas for “Follow Your Dreams. . .Don’t
Do Drugs” and dressing
as a twin for "Two Heads Are Better Than One”. Another fun day was
dressing in various holiday clothing to celebrate differences. The final
two days were wearing super
hero clothing and team jerseys. The SADD students (Students Against
Destructive Decisions) coordinated all of the activities 6-12 and decorated
all of the trees outside the
middle school and 'Eastview. The following week, SADD promoted
"Bullying Awareness” with posters and dressing up in orange. The
entire month of October recognized
“Cancer Awareness” throughout the schools with ribbons, special
messages on doors and a reco
