It is hard to believe we are just weeks
away from Christmas. The four weeks
preceding Christmas are called "Advent"
which literally means, "coming."
Christmas was intended to be a
Christian celebration remembering the
"coming of Jesus Christ." For years
Christmas was a time of reflecting
upon God's gift to the world (Jesus),
But something happened. Christmas
has turned into a commercialized
scheme designed to get people to buy
stuff rather than celebrate the birth
of the world's Savior.
Fellowship Community Church
and Crossroads Church are
excited to be part of presenting
a message series called
"Advent Conspiracy"
which has the goal of
reclaiming the meaning of
Christmas. . __
