Congratulations to our friends from Kosovo and the whole state of Iowa! Lt. Governor Gregg and Consul General Gashi made it official by mounting the flag. Check out our new international block on Court Avenue! Norwalk is proud to have Kosovo as our Sister City. Lights and Live Nativity at Christmas at the Library Fellowship Community Church Everyone is invited to celebrate Christmas at Usher in the Christmas season by visiting Norwalk Easter Public Library on Tuesday, Fellowship Community Church at 225 North Avenue December 5th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. You'll be able to in Norwalk. Fellowship invites the public to a visit with Santa, see a few of his live reindeer, and have your photo taken! Lights and displays must be completed by December 8th, as judging will take place on December 9th and 10th. The winner of the contest will be announced on December 11th. This is also a great opportunity to pack the family up in the car and drive around Norwalk to enjoy beautiful Christmas lights and displays by local businesses. The winner of the contest will receive a prize basket worth over $500 and recognition in the Norwalk Living Magazine, as well as on the City of Norwalk and Norwalk Area Chamber of Commerce websites and social media. Cookie Walk Norwalk United Methodist Church, 1801 Sunset Drive, will be hosting a cookie walk on Saturday, December 9th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon). During the cookie walk Santa will make an appearance. There will also be a free will offering for local and national missions.
