atsAMORE Now Open
By Sally Huntoon
Vanessa Lacona-Devine, owner and operator of Bambino's Restaurant, has an-
nounced the opening of atsAMORE located at 8384 South Orilla Road in Norwalk.
The banquet facility is in a county setting and is available for any occasion. It may
be rented by the hour or the day and includes a full-service bar, full kitchen and
dance floor. It seats up to 150 guests.
Vanessa is part of the Lacona family who have been in the restaurant business in
Des Moines for many years. She named the facility atsAMORE to honor her parents.
"It means love," she said. "When people rent this for any occasion, whether a holi-
day party, birthday party, family reunion, wedding or rehearsal dinner, it will be
about love." My mom used to go around the house singing 'atsamore' she added.
Vanessa and Curt Hutcheson have given the building a flesh coat of paint and
have installed carpet, which gives the facility a new, more modem look.
Those renting the facility may have Vanessa cater the event or they may bring in
their own food, beer or wine. Since Vanessa has a liquor license, she Can now be
hired to run the bar and can provide any hard liquor for the event.
The facility is also available for business meetings and school events. For more
information, call Vanessa at 515-371-2092.
