Indian Hills Commu—
nity College has released
the names of the students
who were on the college’s
academic Honor Roll for
the 2015 Fall Term.
To be included on the
Honor Roll, an IHCC stu-
dent must be enrolled
fulltime and have a grade
point average for the term
of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0
scale.
Included were from
Norwalk, Katrina Devore
and Jacey Rodemeyer.
Norwalk student
Michaela Henke will
travel to Normandy,
France with the Iowa State '
University Cyclone
Marching Band, which
was chosen to participate
in ceremonies honoring
American World War II
veterans, and to com-
memorate the 72nd anni-
versary of the D—Day land—
_.‘ing.
The students will per-
form at the Omaha Beach
Cemetery, as well as in the
:town square of St. Mere
_'Eglise as part of the Salute
to Liberation. Other no-
table performances in-
clude a ceremony at the
American cemetery at Brit-
tany and marching in the
D-Day Memorial Parade.

The band was chosen
through a competitive ap-
plication process and their
selection was based upon
the excellence and tradi-
tion of the entire band pro-
gram at Iowa State Univer—
sity.
These talented students
have been tasked with
raising money to offset the
costs of the trip. To donate

Saturday, Dec. 12
Baby Time, 10 — 10:30 a.m. On second Saturdays,
come sing, rhyme and bounce! For babies through 18
months. Fifteen minutes followed by playtime.
Tuesday, Dec.
Storytime, 10:30 — 11:30 a.m. This storytime is rec-
ommended for 3-5 year olds, but all ages are welcome.
We’ll read picture books, sing songs and do rhymes; 25
minutes of storytime followed by playtime.
Wednesday, Dec. 16
Early Out Wednesdays, 2:30 — 3:15 p.m. Come to the
library on early out Wednesdays for fun activities and
projects. On third Wednesdays of the month, it’s Experi-
mentl... Experiment with hands-on science activities.
Thursday, Dec. 17 . a .
Rhyme Time, 10:30 — 11:30 a.m. We’ll read shorter
picture books and board books, sing songs and do ac-
tion rhymes! This storytime is recommended for 18
months - 2 years old, but all ages are welcome; 25 min—
utes followed by playtime.
Friday, Dec. 18
Before Hours: Tech@10, 10 — 11 a.m. Each Friday at
help appointments or help drop-in individuals. Con-
