N/Warren Town and County News OBITUARY Jordan Turnbull, 25, died unexpeCtedly Sun- day morning, December lst, 2019 in Des Moines following injuries sus- tained in an automobile aCcident. Jordan Matthew, the son of Kevin Turnbull and Stacie Campbell, was born on November 3rd, 1994 in Des Moines, Iowa. He grew up in Norwalk, attending school and then earning his Masonry Trade Degree at Denison Job Corp in Denison, Iowa. While growing up, he was involved with gym- nastics, soccer, four wheelers, and motocross racing; traveling thro- ughout central Iowa and to Wisconsin. He esp- ecially enjoyed climbing on anything he could get on such as trees, neighbor’s homes, and balconies. Following school, he returned to Norwalk and worked with his father, Kevin at his business Turnbull Tree Service. Jordan had a love for country swing dancing. JORDAN TURN BULL Jordan had a strong relationship with his God and Creator. His min- istry during his short time on earth is he never knew a stranger and always made everyone around him feel right at home. He enjoyed volun- teering his time by serving the homeless; helping with meals and gathering supplies to donate. Jordan loved his babies, Bowen Turnbull and Mya Anne Rolland, and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. He is survived by his children, Bowen Turn- bull and Mya Rolland; his . mother, Stacie (Jeremy) .Baker of Norwalk, and father Kevin (Michelle) Turnbull of Norwalk; his siblings, Ryan (Victoria) Turnbull, Jacob Turn- bull, Joshua Turnbull, ‘ Jocelyn Turnbull, Jobe Turnbull, Mekhail Baker, Trinity Baker, Jacob Weidmann, Amber (Tyler) Rabey, Mason Crabbs, and Kelli Crabbs; grandparents, Dwain and Dorothy Turnbull and Penny (Colin) Hart, and Dan and Sherry Baker; and a host of family and friends. Available at N/Warren Town 82: County News office Tuesday-Friday 9a.m. to 1p.m. Thursday, December 12,2019 OBITUARY SUSAN KAY (STEINFELDT) MARTIN Susan Kay (Steinfeldt) Martin, the daughter of Arthur and Avis (Sisson) Steinfeldt, was born on July 11th, 1953. She grew-up on her parents’ farm and graduated from Eldora High School. Susan earned a Cert- ificate in Data Processing from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines. She worked as a Senior Computer Programmer for the City of Des Moines for over 25 years and for the past few years for Tyler Tech- nologies of Ames. Susan enjoyed reading and collectibles. Susan was married to Perry Johns Martin on April 17th, 1982. T0- gether they made their home in the Lakewood subdivision of Norwalk and had two sons, Dennis : and Brian. Susan loved her family. One of her most memorable times was a European Cruise she took with her husband. Susan died suddenly on Friday morning, November 29, 2019 at her home. She lived 66 years, 4 months, and 18 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Avis Stein- feldt; and a brother, Gary Steinfeldt. Those of Susan’s family that she is survived by are her husband of 38 years, Perry; two sons, Dennis and Brian; and two siblings, William (Margie) Steinfeldt and Shirley Halsey both of Eldora, IA.
