Send Us Your Letters to Santa
Everyone knows Santa loves receiving letters from kids telling him what
they d
like for Christmas, and if they ve been good or bad throughout the year.
In
accordance with this timeless tradition, North Warren Town & County
News
will again be printing children s letters to Santa.
Children can Write a letter or draw a picture using the below template or
their
own. Letters and pictures can be emailed to us at news@norwalknewspaper.com
or dropped off at our office(there is a mail slot in the back door of the
office).
Letters must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. noon on Friday, December 13th.
This will give us enough time to print the letters in our December 19th
issue
and get a copy of our newspaper sent to Santa at the North Pole before
Christmas.

Rhyme Time- 10:30 am- This storytime is more
active, with lots of songs, rhymes, and shorter books.
Great for toddlers, all ages welcome. 25 minutes
followed by playtime.
Pajama Time- 7:00 pm This is an evening family
storytime with songs and books. Great for all ages.

Friday December 13
Teen Gift Making 3:45 pm 5:45 pm- Eat
cookies and make a variety of small gifts, including
pins, keychains, cards, jewelry, etc.
Monday December 16'
Baby Time- 10:30 am- A storytime designed
especially for babies up to about 18 months and their
adults (siblings welcome). Learn lots of songs,
rhymes, and bounces! 15 minutes followed by
playtime.
Ebenezer Duke Concert 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm-
Musician Duke Otherwise performs his interactive
re-telling of A Christmas Carol with original songs,
dance, and acting. Recommended for ages 4 through
adult. Great for families looking to do something fun
and festive during the holiday season.
Tuesday December 1
Reading Time- 10:30 mn- This storytime focuses
on books and pre-reading skills. Read books, sing
songs and do activities! Great for preschoolers, all
ages welcome. 25 minutes followed by playtime.
Teen Tuesday- 3:45 pm 4:45 pm Drop in to play
Wii games and board games, and eat snacks. Open
for 6-12th Graders.
Wednesday December 18
Early Out Wednesdays! 2:30 pm- 3:30 pm- Drop
in activities every Wednesday if there is school in
Norwalk. No registration required. Great for
elementary age children, all ages welcome. This week
is the BUILD! Program. Build imaginative creations
with LEGO bricks and more.
Adult Craft Night: Can We Gift It: 6:30 pm -
8:00 pm- Join us to use Mason Jars in different ways
to make holiday crafts.

~College Student News~
Four players from the
Wayne State College
football team were
named to the 2019 NSIC
All-Conference Football
Team. Sophomore center
Ryan Kennedy was
named All-NSIC South
Division Honorable
Mention.
Kennedy, a 6-0, 265
pound sophomore center
from Norwalk, was
named All-NSIC South
honorable
mention for the first
time. He started all 11
games at center this
season and is a two-year
starter for the Wildcat
offensive line after
starting 10 games last
season. Kennedy an-
chored a Wildcat offen-
sive line that helped
WSC rank fourth in the
league in rushing yards
per game (188.4) and
rank sixth in total
offense (355.5 yards per
game).
