Carried unanimously RESOLUTION 18-252 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING ZONING ORDIANANCE AMENDMENT BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to close the public hearing portion of the meeting regarding amendment to Chapter 46 of Zoning ordinance. Carried unanimously RESOLUTION 18—253 ZONING ORDIANANCE AMENDMENT BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves an amendment to the 2018 Warren County Iowa Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance. The amendment is in Chapter 46, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, Section 46.09 SDBDIVISIQN DESIGN STANDARDS. 3 [D] Delete: Subdivisions shall be located on Paved County and State Highways. If the proposed subdivision is on a Grade A or Grade B County road, that road shall be paved to the interconnecting paved road by the developer to the Warren County Engineers standards prior to platting. The Board of Supervisors, following a report of the Zoning Commission, may waive the requirement for paving the Grade A or Grade B road. A request for a waiver of the required paving set out in this subsection should be made at the time of consideration of the preliminary plat by the Commission. However, an application may be made with the Warren County Zoning Administrator accompanied by a $500.00 application fee to request a waiver for the paving requirement to be considered prior to the preliminary plat process. The recommendation of the Commission shall then be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for approval or disapproval of the waiver. The waiver would be considered for the current landowner and the waiver would sunset once the property is conveyed to another person or entity. (The Board of Supervisors requested to add a stipulation that prior to platting, the Warren County Engineer and Warren County Zoning Administrator together, work with the developer and have a written agreement for the paving and that written agreement can be submitted prior to platting instead of requiring that the paving be completed prior to the platting process.) Luke Nelson, Norwalk City Manager presented update on City of Norwalk. Supervisor Crystal McIntyre gave report of her previous week’s activities. Supervisor Dean 0.
