KAY FRANCES OGLE
Services were held
Tuesda Aug. 12, for Kay
Frances Ogle, 73, Norwalk,
who died Wednesday,
Aug. 6. Burial was at Lau-
rel Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Ogle was born
April 21, 1941 in Des
Moines, the daughter of
Huston and Mary (Slater)
Cook.

OBITUARY
MILTON BOOMERSHINE JR.
Milton (Snook) Boomer-
shine Jr., Norwalk, died
Sunda3 Aug. 3, with Don-
na, his wife of 58 years, by
his side. They were mar-
ried in June of 1956.
Mr. Boomershine lived
and worked in the Des
Moines area most of his
.life and was a student at
Cassidy, Nash, Washing-
ton Irving and Lincoln
schools while living in Des
Moines.
He served in the US
Navy Reserves with his
brother, Budd3 following
his father's service in the
US Army during World
War II in the Philippines.
He worked originally as
an industrial insulator for
Iowa Asbestos" and L&L
Insulation and was a mem-
ber of Local 74. His grand-
parents, Harry and Freda
(Lamb) Woods had the
greatest influence on his
life.
Mr. Boomershine built
his first two homes with
the assistance of family
and was the founder and
CEO of Boomershine Con-
struction. He served as
president of the Marion
Milton Boomershine Jr.
County Board of Realtors
in Knoxville and devel-
oped and built many resi-
dential and commercial
properties in that area.
Survivors include his
wife, Donna Jean (Long)
Boomershine; sister, Don-
na (George Shepherd); "two
children, Laura (Bob Van-
derMeulen) and Jay (Jill);
and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in
death by his father, Milton
G. Boomershine Sr., moth-
er, Marie F. (Woods)
Boomershine; son, Milton
Douglas Boomershine III;
and brother, Harold "Bud"
Boomershine.

HELEN SCULLY
Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Brooks
South Town Chapel for Helen Scully, 79, Prole, who died

Mrs. Scully was born May 5, 1935 to Ralph and Edna
Davis in Albia. She enjoyed knitting, putting together
puzzles and especially spending time with her grand-
children.
