totally completed. The balance of the five (5) percent due the Contractor will be
paid in accordance with the Code of Iowa.
A sales tax exemption certificate will be available for all material purchased for
incorporation into the project. Contractor also must file appropriate claim waiv-
em before final payment will be released.
Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per .C, PJgP_:
dar day will be assessed for each working day that the work on the contract
remains uncompleted after the initial working days have expired.
Plans and specifications governing the construction of the proposed improve-
ments, and also the prior proceedings of the City Council referring to and defin-
ing said proposed improvement are hereby made a part of this notice and the
proposed contract by reference, and the proposed contract shall be executed in
compliance therewith.
Copies of said plans and specifications and form of contract are now on file with
the City Clerkand may be examined at the Norwalk City Hall, 705 North Avenue,
Norwalk, Iowa. Copies of the project documents may be obtained from Snyder
& Associates, Inc., 2727 SW Snyder Boulevard, Ankeny, Iowa 50023.
This notice is given by order of the City Council of the City of Norwalk, iowa.
