Pick up registration forms 24 hours a day at the Parks
and Recreation of'rice or print them off our website:
www.ci.norwalk.ia.us. You can mail registration forms,
place them in our drop box or walk in. Our office is
located at 1100 Chatham Ave. (Public Safety Bldg.). Of-
fice hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Fri-
day. The drop box is open 24/7! If you have any ques-
tions, call us at 981-9206. Online registration is avail-

"Pick-up basketball games will be offered for adults.
Please bring clean tennis shoes to wear for the games.
This program is only for residents who live in the
Norwalk School District. Program Dates: October 26,
November 2, 9, 16, 30, December 7, 14, January 4,11,18,
25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, March 7, 14, 21, 28; Time: 7
to 9 p.m.; Location: Middle School Gym; Registration:
Began September 19 (closes when full); Cost: $28 for
Norwalk residents, $32 for non-residents; Maximum
number of participants: 40.
CRAFT CLUB
This program is for children in 3rd through 5th
grades. The children meet once a month after school to
make special arts and crafts projects. Next class will be
November 4. Registration: Through October 28; Time:
3:15-4:15 p,m.; Location: Art Room at Lakewood; Cost
4th Annual Coat & Boot Drive
During the month of October,
Norwalk Chiropractic will be
collecting new snow boots (youth
sizes 12-3) and new coats (youth
sizes 7-12) for 0viatt Elementary
School in exchange for an exam
and x-ray (if medically needed).
All existing patients will receive

KINDERGARTEN, 1ST & 2ND AT
OVIATT - FIRST SEMESTER 2011-2012
This semester Mad Science of Iowa is offering our
NEW "Discovery, Forensics & Security" Enrichment
Program for your children right after school! Session
topics for this brand new program are: Junior Detectives,
Spy Academy, Sleuths on the Scene, Funky Forensics,
Secret Agent Locators and Evidenti'ally Evideice! This
is a super fun way for your child to spark imaginative
learning outside the traditional school day. Mad Science
is hands-on, inquiry-based, interactive and entertaining.
We use trained, dynamic instructor-presenters with pro-
fessional equipment and materials to deliver age-appro-
priate, enjoyable and enriching science activities. The
children have so much fun they almost do not realize
they are gaining a clear understanding of what science
is and how it affects the world around them! We com-
municate real world practical'uses of the science prin-
ciples. Each of the four - 1 1A hour sessions includes one
to two of our popular Make-&-Takes so enjoyed by the
children and appreciated by the parents. Register by
Sunda Oct. 30, fo r just $68 (after Oct. 30for $79). Price
includes all supplies, take home materials and the Mad
Scientist's travel. Program will meet after school from
3:15 to 4:45 p.n on Fridays, Nov. 4, 18, and Dec. 2, 9.
